Policy and Partnerships
As a Policy Officer for the Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative, Latifa supports the Policy and Partnerships team by facilitating collaboration between the different global and country teams and other BRAC entities as relevant. Latifa also supports the team through independent research and analysis on various topics related to global poverty, graduation, policy issues and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining BRAC, Latifa earned her Master’s degree at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. During her time here, she collaborated with the California Department of Technology on a research project around building inclusive, healthy communities through digital connectivity.
Latifa had previously held various roles across local and international non-profits providing support in quantitative and qualitative analysis, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
