Kris is responsible for providing research, evaluation, and knowledge management support on inclusive development and social protection for UPGI in the Philippines. This includes reviewing mixed method research studies and leading the use of digital-based approaches to capture and communicate project learnings and technical knowledge.
Prior to his full-time engagement with BRAC, he previously worked on the UPGI project in the Philippines with the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), where he was leading the project’s monitoring and reporting. He also has extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) with different organizations such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and United States Agency for International Development (USAID), among others. Kris holds a master’s degree in Social Research from the Australian National University (ANU).
He has an interest in utilizing quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of development programs and projects, especially in the fields of social protection and basic education.
