Angela Bwengi is a Senior Manager on the Policy and Partnerships team. She is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Angela is a seasoned policy and advocacy professional with over a decade of experience in international development. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with policymakers, regulators, and governments to drive policy changes that promote inclusion, resilience, and poverty reduction across Africa. Angela has successfully designed and led strategies for policy and advocacy, building strong partnerships and managing key stakeholder relationships to advance impactful policy work.

Her expertise spans strategic planning, program design and management, and public-private sector coordination, with notable roles in international organizations. Angela is deeply committed to championing innovations that uplift marginalized communities and promote financial inclusion and sustainable development.

She holds a Master’s in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s in Law, with a strong background in political and economic advocacy, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
