The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, has launched the first of four coaching modules. These coaching modules have been developed to roll out India’s graduation-based program – Inclusive Livelihoods or Samaaveshi Aajeevika – nationwide. This is a national module in English, and state versions in several languages and dialects will soon be available.
The training module aims to equip programme coaches, or master resource persons, with the knowledge, skills and tools to drive meaningful transformation. This module has been developed using the coaching framework designed in consultation with various stakeholders, including BRAC, Trickle Up, National Rural Livelihood Mission, State Rural Livelihoods Missions, and community members.
