Program Design and Impact

Ruchika supports UPGI’s work designing graduation programs for scale in-country and globally.

Ruchika brings over a decade of experience in international development, including five years supporting scaling up graduation in India. In her previous role as Associate Director at J-PAL South Asia, she led the organization’s scale-up team and collaborated with government and non-government partners to successfully expand evidence-based programs in health, education, gender, and social protection across several Indian states. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, policy advocacy, program implementation, and grant management.

Additionally, Ruchika worked at Evidence Action where she managed a social protection program in Bangladesh, and at Central Square Foundation where she led governance initiatives to support India’s education system.

Ruchika holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
