Program Design and Impact
In his role as Technical Officer for Program Design and Impact at BRAC UPGI, Isaac provides vital support to country teams and global partners to take the Graduation approach to scale with governments. He is particularly involved in UPGI’s work in South Africa and Indonesia.
Isaac has been with UPGI since 2019 and has worked on several areas of design and implementation in Graduation programming. He has played diverse roles in technical partnerships to support government-led Graduation programmes in Tunisia, Rwanda, and Guinea. Isaac is passionate about the Graduation approach because of its proven impact and focus on multiple dimensions of extreme poverty.
Isaac holds an MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies – University of Sussex, where his dissertation assessed how ideology impacts decision-making in government-led social protection programmes. He also holds a BA in International Studies from Fordham University. He is fluent in French and based in Washington, DC.
