Zulkifli Kahar is the Provincial Officer for West Sumatra in Indonesia and is part of the UPGI team based in Indonesia.

He has previously worked as a Governance Specialist on an IUWASH project in the North Sumatra Province, improving water and sanitation services. He also has experience serving as a Regional Coordinator and Planning Specialist for an Education Program working to foster relationships with key stakeholders in the province, districts, and local communities. He has also worked and coordinated on local governance support programs funded by USAID and the World Bank.
