As a Program Analyst in the BRAC UPGI India team, Jafreen is responsible for co-developing the strategy of proposed programs with the government and other stakeholders, examining the landscape, including stakeholders, markets, and government, generating documentation on project implementation strategies, and conducting rapid assessments of field programs.
Before joining the UPGI team, she worked with ACCESS Development Services and previously at The Nudge Foundation and the Rajasthan State Rural Livelihoods Mission in India.
Jafreen holds a Bachelor’s degree in history from Miranda House, Delhi University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and an M.Phil. in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Jafreen nurtures an interest in music, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in Indian classical music. Additionally, her passion extends to the realms of dramatics and cinema.
